Fundraiser and Artisan Auction to Benefit Soteria on Thursday, November 7th
GREENVILLE, SC | September 17, 2019 – Soteria, a local non-profit organization that advocates for economic and social justice for those and their families impacted by the criminal justice system, will celebrate their 20th Anniversary on Thursday, November 7th. Reclaimed: Soteria’s 20th Anniversary Celebration & Artisan Auction will take place at The Rutherford from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. This special event will feature auction items handcrafted by Soteria’s very own interns.
Event festivities will include live music, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and both a silent and live artisan auction. Tickets are $50 per person with all proceeds benefiting Soteria and their programs. Founder and Executive Director of Soteria, Jerry Blassingame, works to create opportunities for previously incarcerated men to reenter society through transitional housing, life skills and job training. His passion is assisting individuals who have been incarcerated through reentry and helping them to become productive citizens, within the community.
